Cold Brew Tonic and Tea Spritz mocktails

Mocktail Hour: Cold Brew Tonic and a Tea Spritz

Not every evening drink needs alcohol. These two non-alcoholic drinks are bright, refreshing and a bit unexpected.

Cold brew tonic

  • Ice
  • 150 ml tonic water
  • 30–40 ml coffee extract
  • Slice of orange or lemon

Fill a tall glass with ice and add the tonic first. Then pour the coffee slowly over the back of a spoon so it floats on top. The result is bitter, fizzy and citrusy, and it looks great in two layers.

Tea spritz

  • Ice
  • 30 ml fruit or herbal tea extract
  • 100 ml sparkling water
  • A few mint leaves and a squeeze of lime

Build it in a wine glass over ice and stir gently.

For venues: non-alcoholic menus are growing, and coffee and tea extracts let you offer something with real flavour and depth, not just another soft drink. The same bottle that makes your iced lattes can make your mocktail list.
